Summer Science Camp

Summer Science Camp immerses children in science through gardening and nature-based activities.

Each session of Science Camp provides children with a perfect opportunity to be outdoors and to stimulate an interest in science and nature. Science Camp is located at either Sonoma Garden Park or Sugarloaf Ridge State Park.

Science Camp provides children with the opportunity to learn about science and connect with nature through daily hands-on, interactive experiments, explorations, and adventures.

Campers will also make new friends, develop new skills, and work with a highly qualified staff of professional educators and naturalists. Each camp theme is rich in science content, eco-friendly arts & crafts, fun games, and healthy snacks.

Sonoma Ecology Center has four summer science camp sessions for 2016!

At Sonoma Garden Park there will be two Harry Potter Camps: Goblet of Fire for ages 6-12, and Deathly Hallows for ages 8-12.

At Sugarloaf Ridge State Park we will host our popular Creek Camp for ages 8-12, and a brand-new Backpacking Adventure for older campers, ages 10-14.

  • Our week-long sessions run from 9am-3pm daily (except for overnight experiences)
  • Camp is $225 for Sonoma Ecology Center members and $265 for non-members.
